Is this a physical book?

Yes. The Signature edition includes one personalized 8.5-inch square casewrap hardcover and the complete digital edition. The Digital edition is delivered as screen-ready and print-ready PDFs.

What exactly is personalized?

The child’s interests, habits, questions, relationships, and optional pet help shape the plot—not just the name on the cover. We use a defined story scope so the result stays coherent and the delivery promise stays realistic.

How long does it take?

Your first digital proof is typically ready in 5–7 business days after a complete brief. After final print approval, standard tracked U.S. hardcover delivery is typically 13–14 business days. Rush shipping and international delivery are quoted separately.

Do I need to share a child’s photograph?

No. We can work from an appearance description. If reference photographs are used, the buyer must have authority to provide them. They are used for the order and never for marketing without separate permission.

What do the two approval stages include?

Stage 1 covers the premise, full story text, names, and representative character artwork. Stage 2 covers the completed illustrations and layout. A new plot, art direction, or character after Stage 1 is a scope change; our own errors are always corrected without charge.

How are the story and artwork made?

AI tools assist parts of the writing and illustration process. Dearly Fabled directs, edits, arranges, and checks the complete book. The result is an artistic interpretation rather than a guaranteed photographic likeness.
